Countering illicit drug trafficking
The second day of the conference will be no less intense than the first. In the first block, representatives of the police and Security Service will share their experience in countering drug trafficking. Acute issues of psychotropic substances production, their smuggling and sale on the “black market” will also be discussed.
Modern challenges: new psychoactive substances
The next block will also be very important, as it will look at the latest dire threats that are keeping the whole world in fear. Drugs are being modified and changed almost every hour. Unfortunately, to date, many of them have hardly been studied and, consequently, have no antidotes. Both domestic experts and international specialists will make presentations on this issue.
Drug situation in penitentiary institutions
The last block will be especially difficult, because the problem of drug addiction exists not only in civil society, but also in penitentiary institutions, where drug addicts, who are there, require special treatment and therapy, so that at the end of their term of imprisonment they do not want to take up their old habits again.
